The title for the 2015 Leangkollen Security Conference was "The Balance of Power". The Conference took place between February 2nd and 3rd, and was opened by the Prime Minister of Norway, Erna Solberg.
The topic of the conference 2015 Conference was “The Balance of Power”, and throughout the conference we shed light on Russian aggression, the crisis in Ukraine and how this affects NATO and its member states differently.
Among the speakers were the Prime Minister of Norway, Erna Solberg, the Deputy Secretary General of NATO, ambassador Alexander Vershbow, Sergey Utkin from the Centre for Situation Analysis at the Russian Academy of Service, Marcin Terlikowski from the Polish Institute of International Affairs, Hanna Shelest from the Ukrainian National Institute for Strategic Studies, Latvia´s Ambassador to Hungary, Imants Liegis, Thomas Gomart from the French Institute of International Relations, Karl-Heinz Kamp from the Bundesakademie für Sicherheitspolitik, Ann-Sofie Dahl from the Center for Military Studies at Copenhagen University and Paul Järvenpää at the International Centre for Defence Studies.
