About the conference
The Leangkollen Security Conference is an annual two-day conference held in February every year, and has been organized by the Norwegian Atlantic Committee since 1965. Each year we invite a selected group of leading international and Norwegian experts to participate in discussions on contemporary foreign, defence and security policy issues related to NATOs current agenda. The conference is an integral part of the Norwegian Atlantic Committee’s mandate, namely to engage with the media, opinion formers, politicians, diplomates, civil servants, academics, military personnel and the successor generation on current and emerging international and transatlantic issues.
