  • Elizabeth “Betsy” Markey, former member of the U.S. Congress from Colorado (D).

Former U.S. Member of Congress (D) from Colorado. After her congressional term, Markey held key positions in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Small Business Administration. Currently an advisor with Sumihiro Investments, Markey brings her extensive experience in assisting foreign-owned companies to establish a presence in the United States. Being a pioneer in the field of email marketing and web design with Syscom Services, and her significant contribution in developing computer security policies at the U.S. Department of State, she provides a wealth of knowledge in technology and cybersecurity.

  • Jim Gerlach, former member of the U.S. Congress from Pennsylvania (R).

Former U.S. Member of Congress (R) from Pennsylvania. During his tenure, Gerlach led the House Ukraine caucus, was a member of the German American caucus, and advocating for government-funded embryonic stem-cell research and environmental protection. Post-congress, Gerlach's experience spans from working at Venable LLF law firm to leading the Business-Industry Political Action Committee (BIPAC), and the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting businesses. His diverse roles and commitment to campaign finance reform highlight his multifaceted approach to political and business landscapes.
