About our seminars

Organising and adaption of seminars is the main activity of the Norwegian Atlantic Committee. We aim to arrange for an unpolitical, multi-disciplinary platform where different actors can discuss freely.

Our speakers come from both home country and abroad, and from different environments; researchers, ministries, politicians, military, media and organisations. We take up topical issues as well as more paramount problems and future scenarios within defence-, foreign-, and security policy.

Our seminars are held in a variety of formats and often in cooperation with other actors. We organise all from large arrangements with several speakers and panels, to smaller lunch seminars, to specialised closed groups and news groups, for example the Russia group.

Precicly because of this we do not have a common mailing list, but put together lists of invitations according to field of interest and expertise for each seminar held. If you would like to receive invitations to our seminars you can in advance inform us of your interests and working field, so that we can send you an invitation to the relevant seminars.
